It’s almost time for your holiday, so you need to make sure you’ve completed your advanced passenger information (API) with your airline, and completed check-in before you travel to the airport.

Booking Reference

Please refer to your Oxwich Travel documentation for your airline booking reference – this is different from your main holiday booking reference.

What is API?

Advanced Passenger Information, or API, is often required by your destination country prior to travel, and if neccessary it will be requested when you check in online for your flights.  Please note that this is very different from applying for a visa – you can find visa information on the FCDO website here.

For API you’ll usually require the following details:

  • Full name as per your passport
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Type of travel document
  • Passport or identity card number
  • Country that issued your passport or identity card
  • Date of expiry of passport or indentity card

Due to Brexit, please ensure you have at least six months of validity left on your passport from your date of travel. Other changes may take place between now and your holiday, therefore please stay up-to-date by visiting www.gov.uk/visit-europe-brexit.
